Peter Briger is known to hold an executive position at Fortress Investment Group, an asset investment company. He has been the Co-Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors at Fortress from 2009 and 2006, respectively. Peter has also been a member of the management committee at Fortress, which he has held for over two decades. As a member of the management committee, Peter oversees the credit and real estate acquisitions. Peter Briger worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co for approximately 15 years before joining Fortress Investment Group. He was made partner at Goldman Sachs & Co in 1996. Peter has also partaken a membership for the Global Fund for Children at the Silicon Valley Leadership Council. As the Principal of Fortress Investment Group, Peter Briger has brought tremendous success by purchasing SoftBank Group for 3.3 billion dollars. The purchase of SoftBank led to the Fortress Group working together with high-profile companies such as Google, Qualcomm, and Apple, and this was a huge win for the Fortress Group.
